For the first time, The Buttery & Glasshouse is releasing a limited number of Friday and Saturday Twilight Weddings in 2027-2029.
Earlier starts, exclusive use, prime dates and a wonderful flow from ceremony to photographs, feasting, speeches, cocktails, music and dancing create a wedding that feels immersive, social and effortlessly enjoyable.

The Original Twilight
Designed for up to 80 guests, the Original Twilight centres around a buffet-style dining with the option of our signature Smokehouse Feast.
Relaxed, generous and wonderfully social, it creates an informal dining experience that allows guests to mingle, feast and move naturally into the evening celebrations.

- Exclusive hire of the whole venue
- Access for set up from 12 noon (supplier access possible from 11am)
- Honeymoon Suite as a pamper room from 12 noon
- Guest arrival from 2.30pm
- Indoor or outdoor ceremony at 3.30pm (The Buttery or the Terrace)
- Smokehouse canapés and celebratory drinks reception
- Buffet style dining (Smokehouse Feast or hot fork buffet)
- Evening party from 7.30pm
- Resident DJ until 11.30pm and carriages at midnight
- Overnight stay in the Honeymoon Suite with breakfast

The Dinner Party Twilight
Designed for up to 60 guests, the Dinner Party Twilight includes a two-course wedding feast served at the table, accompanied by wine.

You know your guests, what they will enjoy and the style of celebration that feels most like you. For most couples, the choice is almost instinctive.
How the
wedding day unfolds
- Your day starts with access to the venue and Honeymoon Suite as a pamper room from 12 noon to get ready with your make-up artist, hairdresser and bridesmaids.
- Guests arrive from 2.30pm for drinks in the Lounge Bar.
- The Buttery Barn, just a flight of stairs away, awaits your entrance and the wonderful “I do” moment at 3.30pm.
- Following the ceremony, drinks, canapés and photographs allow guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings before everyone gathers for a relaxed wedding feast, whether that is the hosted two-course dining experience of the buffet style dining.
- As daylight softens into evening, resident DJ will be ready for music, dancing from 7.30pm
- Music fades and the final glasses are clinked at 11.30pm, with carriages at midnight.
- And when the celebrations come to an end, your Honeymoon Suite awaits just a flight of stairs away, allowing the day to finish as effortlessly as it began.
The morning after
- Wake up still wrapped in the glow of your wedding day and enjoy a Full English breakfast.
- Collect your mementos and say your final goodbyes by 10.30am.
Outdoor ceremony?
While many Twilight Weddings take place only during the winter months, when outdoor ceremonies are rarely possible, our Spring and Summer Twilight dates give couples the opportunity to enjoy one of the most sought-after moments of a wedding day with an outdoor ceremony on The Terrace.

The signature Smokehouse Feast
A popular choice among our couples is the signature Smokehouse Feast, prepared in-house using our Ole Hickory Pit smoker imported from Texas. Slow-cooked meats, generous platters and relaxed social dining create a feast that feels warm, welcoming and unmistakably Bull Hotel.
Add wine and beer, great company and a carefully hosted flow throughout the day, and the result is a celebration that feels relaxed, generous and effortlessly enjoyable.

2027 Deluxe Twilight from £6,500
Our complete Deluxe Twilight experience in 2027 ranges from £6,500 to £10,500, depending on the day of the week and time of year.

We always recommend a
relaxed venue tour. It’s the best way to explore the space, visualise the flow of your wedding day, and receive a bespoke quote tailored to your preferred date and guest numbers.

Availability
& Holding Dates
Because only a handful of Friday and Saturday Twilight dates are released each year, availability is exceptionally limited.
To ensure fairness to all couples, we can only guarantee prices and hold a date for seven days from the date your quotation is issued. After this period, the date may be released and pricing may be subject to review.
If you have a preferred date in mind, we recommend arranging a viewing and requesting a quotation as early as possible.

The viewings are relaxed. The availability is not. With only a handful of Twilight dates released each year, we recommend arranging your visit as soon as possible if you have a particular date in mind.
