The Glasshouse
Payment Plan
to help spread the cost

How does the payment plan work?
The Glasshouse payment plan lets you secure your wedding date for a £1,000 deposit, then spread the rest of your balance across a number of instalments in the lead-up to your wedding, interest-free.
The structure is straightforward:
- £1,000 non-refundable deposit to secure your date
- £1,000 payable within three months of booking
- Two to three further instalments in the lead-up to your wedding, agreed with your coordinator
- Final balance due three months before your wedding
Because every wedding is a different size and shape, our planning team will confirm your exact instalment dates and amounts once your package and guest numbers are agreed, rather than applying a single fixed schedule to every booking.

Planning a wedding often happens alongside other major financial commitments, saving for a home, starting a family, or simply managing day-to-day life. We don't think securing your wedding date should mean paying for the whole thing upfront, or taking on interest-bearing finance to do it.
The payment plan is designed to give you flexibility and clarity from the moment you book, not just reassurance that it exists. You'll know your full payment schedule before you commit to a date, so there are no surprises later in your planning.

payment plan.

Frequently asked questions
Is the payment plan really interest-free?
Yes. There is no interest charged on any instalment, and no credit check required. You simply pay the agreed amounts on the agreed dates.
How much deposit do I need to secure a date?
A £1,000 non-refundable deposit secures your wedding date at The Glasshouse. This is followed by a further £1,000 within three months of booking, then staged instalments agreed with your coordinator, with the final balance due three months before your wedding.
Can I use the payment plan for a late-availability wedding?
For weddings booked closer to the date, the payment schedule is simply adjusted to fit the time available. The £1,000 non-refundable deposit secures your date, and the remaining instalments are brought closer together. If you book within three months of your wedding, the full balance will normally be payable at the time of booking. Your personalised payment schedule will be clearly explained before you confirm.
What happens if I need to change my payment dates?
Please speak to your coordinator as soon as possible. We understand that circumstances can change and will consider reasonable adjustments wherever possible, subject to the terms of your booking and the final payment deadline. Any revised payment schedule must be agreed with us in advance.
Does the payment plan apply to every wedding package?
Yes. Payment plans are available for both Indulgent Weddings and Deluxe Twilight Weddings, including winter and late-availability dates. For weddings booked closer to the date, the instalment schedule will be adjusted to suit the time remaining before your wedding.
Is the deposit refundable if we need to cancel?
The £1,000 deposit is non-refundable because it secures your chosen date exclusively for you. Once reserved, we stop offering that date to other couples and begin preparing for your wedding immediately, including notifying Kent County Council and allocating your planning support team. This ensures fairness to everyone and allows your wedding preparations to begin straight away.
