A WEDDING VENUE with rooms.

The Glasshouse and The Bull Hotel are one and the same place: your ceremony, reception and evening celebration happen in the courtyard behind the hotel, and your accommodation is right there with it. There's no second venue to think about, no coach transfers at the end of the night, just a short walk upstairs once the last dance is done.


Nine guest bedrooms


The Bull Hotel has been welcoming travellers for over 600 years, and its 9 bedrooms have been individually designed with heritage paint colours and Laura Ashley soft furnishings, balancing the building's original character (gnarled oak floors, exposed beams, original fireplaces) with modern comforts like blackout blinds and sound-proofing between floors. Room styles include four-poster, king and double, so you can match rooms to your guests according to their needs.

There are two ways to enjoy our nine boutique bedrooms.


Stay the Night Before

Invite your bridal party, family and closest friends to stay the night before your wedding. Enjoy dinner together, wake up already at the venue and get ready together turning your wedding into a relaxed two-day celebration.

  • All 9 bedrooms with 3pm check-in on the day before, including Continental breakfast
  • A two-course, pre-ordered evening meal in the restaurant (20 guests in total)
  • Guests must remain in the same room for both nights if booking both the wedding eve and the wedding night
  • Check-out by 10.30am the morning after the wedding
  • £2,000 (2027) (according to availability)



Stay THE NIGHT OF the Wedding

Reserve the bedrooms for the night of your wedding, so your chosen guests can stay close after the celebrations and join you for breakfast the following morning.

  • All 9 bedrooms, with strict 3pm check-in on the wedding day, including Continental breakfast
  • Check-out 10.30am
  • £1,750 (2027)

The Honeymoon Suite is reserved for the couple on their wedding night.


A spacious room with a king-size bed, corner sofa, and a generous en-suite bathroom with a separate shower room. Earlier in the day, the same suite serves as The Pamper Room, where you get ready before the ceremony.

After the celebration winds down, there’s no need for taxis or travel, your Honeymoon Suite is just a few steps away. Fresh, crisp linens, a spacious bathroom, and pure comfort await, offering the perfect setting to unwind and reflect on the day.


Wake up refreshed to a hearty country-style full English breakfast, and enjoy a gentle start to your first morning as a married couple. Check-out is by 10:30am.

The

Honeymoon Suite.

Your Honeymoon Suite is more than just a beautiful place to stay, it’s where the day begins. This spacious suite becomes your private preparation space, complete with pamper room facilities featuring a corner sofa, large mirror, dressing table, and dress rail.


JUST A FEW STEPS AWAY FROM THE CEREMONY


It’s the perfect setting as a Pamper Room to welcome your hairdresser and makeup artist, hang your dress, and enjoy those special pre-ceremony moments. Bridesmaids and close family are welcome to get ready with you, sharing in the excitement.


This is also where you’ll meet the registrar for your pre-ceremony interview and where that unforgettable first reveal happens.

You can add all nine boutique bedrooms to your wedding package. Each room accommodates two people, providing overnight stay for up to 18 guests, with breakfast included the following morning.


ALLOCATION REMAINS
IN YOUR HANDS


The rooms are reserved together so that you remain in control of who stays at the hotel with you. You allocate the rooms to your chosen guests, and our team will help you identify the most suitable room for each guest.


If you wish, you may ask your guests to reimburse you for their rooms. However, to ensure the room allocation remains entirely in your hands, we do not accept individual bookings or payments directly from guests.


The Honeymoon Suite is included in all packages for the wedding day, with no extra cost.

If your wedding party is larger than 9 rooms can accommodate, Premier Inn Maidstone/Sevenoaks and Holiday Inn Maidstone are both within 2 miles of the venue for overflow guests.

Breakfast, and the morning after.

A full English breakfast, cooked to order, is served to all staying guests on the morning after the wedding in The Bull Hotel's restaurant, using seasonal, locally sourced Kentish produce.

  • How many bedrooms are available for our wedding?

    The Bull Hotel has 9 en-suite bedrooms available for your guests plus the Honeymoon Suite reserved for the couple. The bedrooms can be added to your wedding package.

  • Can our guests book rooms themselves, rather than us arranging everything?

    We recommend that the couple reserves the bedrooms and decides how they are allocated. You know your guests and their individual needs best, so you can choose the most suitable room for each person.

  • Is breakfast included?

    Yes. A Full English breakfast is served on the morning after your wedding for the couple and their guests. On any additional mornings, guests staying in our bedrooms can enjoy a continental breakfast.

  • Can we book the whole hotel, not just rooms for the wedding?

    Yes, absolutely. On your wedding day, the venue is exclusively yours, with all nine boutique bedrooms available as an optional add-on. Some couples may not require accommodation, while others choose to reserve the rooms for guests travelling from further afield or simply for those who would prefer the comfort of staying at the venue rather than driving home after the celebrations.

  • Is there somewhere nearby if we need more rooms than The Bull Hotel has?

    Yes, Premier Inn Maidstone/Sevenoaks and Holiday Inn Maidstone are both within 2 miles of the venue.

  • What time can guests check in?

    Check-in is 3pm on the wedding day (strict), unless you've booked Stay & Dine for the night before, in which case check-in is 3pm the day before instead. Check-out is 10.30am.
