Most venues hand you the keys on the morning of your wedding. The Indulgent Wedding gives you the keys the afternoon before.

Calm Before the Confetti is the name we give to the nearly 48 hours of venue access included with every Indulgent Wedding: from 3pm the day before your wedding, to 10.30am the morning after.

EXTRA TIME

THE DAY BEFORE

In that extra time the day before, your suppliers, florists and stylists can decorate and personalise the space at a relaxed pace.

There's no early alarm to finish decorating. Also no rushed clear-down once the last dance ends, because the venue is yours until 10.30am the morning after the wedding.

Practically,

that means:



The afternoon and evening before your wedding - your suppliers have the venue and the time to work. Florists style at their proper pace. Table plans, signage, favours and every small personal touch you've thought about for months go exactly where you pictured them, without a countdown.

• CHECK-IN TO YOUR SUITE - settle into your Honeymoon Suite, hang your dresses and suits, and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, feeling completely at home.

• Your wedding day itself - the venue is exclusively yours and is ready and waiting when you wake up. Nothing left to finish, nothing to check on before your hair and make-up begin in the Honeymoon Suite with pamper room facilities.

• THE NIGHT OF YOUR WEDDING DAY - Music fades and the final glasses are clinked at 11.30pm, with carriages at midnight. Your Honeymoon Suite is only a few steps away. 

• The morning after - Wake up still wrapped in the glow of your wedding day and enjoy a Full English breakfast. Collect your mementos and say your final goodbyes by 10.30am

60 DAY GUESTS AND 50 EVENING GUESTS

• Access to the venue for set-up from 3pm the day before, and breakdown the day after by 10.30am
• Exclusive hire of the whole venue on the wedding day
• Honeymoon Suite with pamper room facilities from 3pm the day before until the morning after your wedding 
• Two options of ceremony spaces, including outdoors (The Buttery Barn or The Terrace)
• Canapés and drinks reception
• Three-course wedding breakfast, or a Smokehouse Feast
• Table wine and toast drinks
• Evening reception, with party pizzas for all guests
• Resident DJ until 11.30pm, carriages at midnight
• Overnight stay in the Honeymoon Suite with breakfast the following morning
• Planning support team throughout, and an interactive online planning tool
• A dedicated on the day wedding coordinator who knows the venue inside out

Some venues offer you a hire with a time slot. The Indulgent Wedding is built differently, because The Glasshouse is built differently.

Exclusive use here means the whole venue close their doors to the general public entirely on your wedding day.

Your guests get to know

the team by name.

The professional kitchen, front-of-house team, reception desk, all of it is there for your wedding and nobody else's. Your guests get to know the team by name.

That's the real difference between hiring a venue and being hosted by one. It's why the day tends to feel calmer and more personal than a straightforward venue hire, even before Calm Before the Confetti comes into it.

Food at The Glasshouse is prepared entirely in-house by our own chefs.

Your Indulgent Wedding breakfast is a three-course, seated meal, with table service.

Or you can choose our signature Smokehouse Feast instead, using seasonal ingredients and Kent produce where possible.

Evening food keeps the party going with artisan pizzas for all guests. Dietary requirements are handled with care and passion.

An Indulgent Wedding moves through every part of the venue, so the atmosphere shifts as your day does, without anyone ever needing to leave the venue.

• The Buttery Barn hosts your ceremony beneath 16th-century oak beams, aged brick and candlelight, just a flight of stairs from the Honeymoon Suite where you get ready.

• The Terrace, framed by an ancient stone wall, is where drinks, canapés and group photographs happen between ceremony and reception.

• The Glasshouse itself, light-filled by day beneath its retractable domed roof, becomes your wedding breakfast room.



• And the Lounge Bar is where guests drift to for a quieter drink or a breather from the music, without ever leaving the celebration.
  

The Glasshouse sits beside The Bull Hotel, a boutique inn with nine en-suite bedrooms styled with Laura Ashley furnishings.

You’ll stay in the spacious Honeymoon Suite, while the remaining bedrooms can be reserved for your closest guests, allowing everyone to stay just steps away. No taxis at the end of the night, and no need to say goodbye before the celebration is properly over..

You can choose to add our bedrooms for your guests

If you'd like to extend the stay to your closest loved ones, Hotel Rooms & Breakfast are available to book the night of the wedding.  The bedrroms are available as bolt-on, see our Accommodation page for current pricing and terms.

An Indulgent Wedding at The Glasshouse is priced according to the month and day of the week from £8,500 - £15,500 (2027).

The price includes everything listed above: access to the venue across nearly 48 hours, exclusive use on your wedding day, your Honeymoon Suite, ceremony room, three-course wedding breakfast, table wine, toast drinks, evening reception and planning support throughout.

Our payment plan allows you to spread the cost. A non-refundable deposit secures your date, followed by instalments in the lead-up to your wedding. The final balance is due three months before the day.

Late-availability dates are released throughout the year for couples planning on a shorter timescale. If you have a date in mind, contact our team to check current availability.
