For couples who dream of a timeless English celebration, The Indulgent Wedding includes everything you would expect from a classic wedding, with one important difference: the luxury of time to enjoy every moment without feeling rushed.

At the heart of the experience is our Signature Set-Up Day, giving you access to the venue from 3pm the day before your wedding to decorate, add the finishing touches and bring your vision to life. On your wedding day, the whole venue is exclusively yours.

If you choose, you can also add all nine hotel bedrooms, allowing family and friends to stay on site and begin the celebrations before the wedding day itself. From an informal dinner the evening before to breakfast together the morning after the wedding, The Buttery & Glasshouse becomes a place where everyone can gather, celebrate and stay together for one of life's most important moments.

It is a wedding that feels as though you're welcoming everyone into your own home, while an experienced team quietly takes care of every detail behind the scenes.

Our complete Indulgent Wedding experience ranges from £8,500 to £15,500, depending on the day of the week and time of year.

A beautifully hosted wedding experience spanning almost two days

Your celebration begins at 3pm the day before, giving you time to settle in and prepare the venue at your own pace. It continues throughout your exclusive-use wedding day and ends at 10.30am the following morning, after breakfast.

Arriving the day before to set up transforms your wedding experience into something calmer, more personal and truly unhurried.

From 3pm the day before your wedding, The Buttery and The Glasshouse are all yours to decorate. Instead of feeling rushed or cramming all the styling into a stressful morning on the wedding day, you have the chance to settle in, bring your décor, and see the space slowly transform.

This is the moment when all your planning starts to take shape, the flowers find their vases, the tables are dressed, and your suppliers have time to work without a clock ticking in the background.

You can meet your suppliers here, make final tweaks, and enjoy seeing your vision come together piece by piece. It’s a calm, enjoyable start to your wedding, setting the tone for the celebration to come.

The timeline of an Indulgent Wedding

The day before access

• Your wedding experience begins from 3pm, with access to the venue to decorate and personalise the spaces at a relaxed pace.
• Settle into your Honeymoon Suite, hang your dresses and suits, and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, feeling completely at home.

Your wedding day, the venue is exclusively yours

• Wake up at your wedding venue, enjoy breakfast and get ready with your make-up artist, hairdresser and bridesmaids.
• Guests arrive from 1pm for drinks in the Lounge Bar.
• The Buttery Barn, just a flight of stairs away, awaits your entrance and the wonderful “I do” moment at 2pm.
• Confetti and photographs follow, with beautiful opportunities around our historic village and surrounding countryside.
• Enjoy drinks and canapés before your three-course wedding breakfast, speeches and toasts.
• Evening guests arrive from 7pm, with dancing from 7.30pm.
• Music fades and the final glasses are clinked at 11.30pm, with carriages at midnight.
• Your Honeymoon Suite is only a few steps away.

The morning after

• Wake up still wrapped in the glow of your wedding day and enjoy a Full English breakfast.
• Collect your mementos and say your final goodbyes by 10.30am.
