Far from one-fits-all, The Buttery & Glasshouse at The Bull Hotel is probably one of the only venues in Kent that really offers bespoke packages and payment plans. With over five different wedding packages, we listen, we discuss, we plan your wedding day so it will be tailored to your dreams.
For most of our weddings we will be able to offer the unique 48-hour hire so couples can make the most of this historic inn, its award winning kitchen, 11 ensuite bedrooms, plenty of car park spaces, full stocked bars and a plethora of spaces to entertain guests.
The day before
Setting-up day, check into the bridal suite, dinner, beauty sleep

Getting dressed, walk the isle, saying 'I do', celebrating and dancing, honeymoon suite
The day after
Full English breakfast, gather your memories, saying goodbyes
Day before set-up
Forget the pressure to set up the venue on your wedding day. Forget driving away at midnight after partying. Forget looking for accommodation for your nearest and dearest.
The Indulgent Wedding package includes a 48-hour venue hire, starting with the set up the day before the ceremony and finally finishing with a hearty, farmhouse-style full English breakfast for the newlyweds and their guests the morning after.

As we are a hotel, or better, an inn, we can share with you the whole venue. Including the award-winning restaurant and 11 ensuite bedrooms for nearly 48 hours, without costing any extra.

Arriving the day before
The venue doors will be open to your suppliers to calmly set up decorations, games, photo booth, flowers and everything else you have decided to have for your big day. You and your team of helpers can set up at your leisure, with your spacious honeymoon suite ready for you to rest and have a relaxing bath before jumping into your king size bed for the night.
The night before
Your perfect wedding experience starts with the complete relaxation at The Buttery and Glasshouse.
The Stay and Dine add-on package offers a special rate for guests arriving the day before and includes dinner as well as bed and breakfast for all 11 rooms or just a couple.
Enjoy a flamboyant rehearsal dinner in the restaurant or a more casual, cosy meal in the private dining room, to kick off the celebrations; it’s whatever you want.
Part of the family
By now, you have become family and The Bull has become your second home. You will know every corner of the hotel and the team will know your guests' favourite drinks. You'll be walking around in your slippers, robes and face masks - the indulgence of getting married in your own country inn.
Stress-free dressing up
On the morning of the wedding day you can choose to have your full English breakfast with your guests in the restaurant or in your suite. Rounds of teas, coffees, bubbles and light lunches (if you wish) will be available whilst your make-up artist and hairdresser work their magic. This is where the first emotional reveal happens, before meeting the registrar. And then... it's time to walk down the aisle.
The morning after
As the clock strikes midnight, you'll be saying goodbye to your guests. Remember, as the newly married couple, there's no need to call a taxi home - as you're staying your first night together in the honeymoon suite.
You'll have the whole hotel for you and your guests, with a country-farm style full English breakfast the next morning.
The final goodbyes
There's something about getting married in a quintessentially English inn that oozes indulgence. So leaving the day after the wedding, there is no rush. You will have until 12 noon to say your final goodbyes, collect the last memorable pieces of decorations and flowers, and check out.
