A Christmas Themed Wedding

I know… Easter has just gone and we are talking about Christmas?

We have teamed up with The Christmas Decorators and James Ireland Photography to decorate The Glasshouse for a Christmas photoshoot. We will then have an open house for all our couples to visit.

The most wonderful (and romantic) time of year. The excitement for the coming holiday gives everyone even more of a reason to celebrate, it allows you to have some fun with your wedding day - we're talking stylish winter wedding dresses, to magical décor and Christmas wedding songs. 

Why getting married this Christmas at The Bull?

The Bull just lends itself to Christmas weddings perfectly, open fires, cosy atmosphere, sink in sofas, boutique rooms and romantic scenery. It is a destination inn with 700-years of history which will be fully dedicated to your wedding. All 11 bedrooms, chefs, front of house and the whole estate will be exclusively at your service. All inclusive.

The most romantic barn-style ceremony room with an isle to walk on with your stylish wedding dress which will upgrade every guest’s Instagram stories. All inclusive.

The ultra contemporary Glasshouse will stage your wholesome seasonal three-course wedding breakfast (why not having a classic roast turkey with all the trimmings?) and table wine. Then your wedding day will be glorious with a ceremony in a 300-year old venue followed by timeless pictures in the garden of England. In The Glasshouse, with its spectacular retractable roof, a wholesome wedding breakfast prepared with supreme quality ingredients will be served alongside a selection of hand-picked wines.⁠

And there is no rush to leave the venue after the evening reception. Don't forget that you and your guests are staying in our quintessential English inn for the night and will have a freshly cooked English breakfast before the final goodbyes.⁠

The payment plan will be tailored to your needs. A wedding on a Saturday in 2025 for 50 day-guests with all inclusive (venue hire, wedding breakfast, all 11 ensuite bedrooms, table wine, evening reception and much more) is quoted at £14,450 if you book until 31st May 2024 (normal price £17,000).⁠

Winter Weddings

Build your own Winter wedding between January 15th to March 16th 2025

Saying ‘I do’ in the winter can be utterly magical. Think cosy and intimate receptions, wholesome winter comfort food and the astonishing photographs under the prettiest golden lights and long shadows.

Package available for 30-40 day guests

£100pp on Thursdays and £140pp on Saturdays.

Package includes: exclusive hire of the whole venue, ceremony in The Buttery,

a 3 course meal in The Bull restaurant, with table wine and toast drinks.

 £1,000 non-refundable deposit required to secure the date.
